DRAMA CLASSES & DRAMA DROP-INS What are these classes? These drama/acting classes are SUPER enriching, interactive & help build confidence in your shy guy or help enrich and harbor the talent in your natural ham. Who can participate in this class? Any of our friends ages 3 and above. How does it work? Teacher Cindi Haggerty, M.A is our seasoned, super qualified teacher of all of our dramatic arts workshops. (Take a peek at her biography below to see what she's all about!). Teacher Cindi creates amazing curriculum that will be enjoyable and enriching for your child. All the materials and supplies are covered in the cost of the class. When you bring your child in that day, you're welcome to leave your child in the class while you take a break. If you'd like to share this experience with your child, you're welcome to stay in the class as well. How much? Our drama classes are 1 hour in length for 4 weeks and are offered at $40/child for members and $60/child for nonmembers, which includes a 1 month membership for one child. I have a Workshop Passport, does that work towards these? Your Workshop Passport can be used toward our Drama Drop-in workshops, but not toward our semester-long classes! Where do I sign up? All registration is online for your convenience. You can register and reserve your spot with the links below or you can sign up at our front desk! Payment is required upon registration.
RISE & SHINE STORY BOOK PLAYHOUSE: ACTING FOR KIDS!
Let us set the stage for your child to shine in an imaginative program, while you take a well-deserved break. In this fun (yet educational) program, children, will listen to stories and bring those tales to life through guided drama and creative play! Each week is a new theme and new activities! When: Every Thursday, March 8 - March 29 Time: 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Cost: $40/child for members. $60/child for non-members (includes a 1 month membership for 1 child) Ages: 3 and up Note: In order to provide a stellar & enriching curriculum for your class, we need time to plan the syllabus and gather supplies. This is why we close registration 1 week before class is scheduled to begin. Due to fun dramatic games & activities, we need a 3 child minimum enrollment for this class to run. If enrollment is low, we will reschedule. We personally email everyone if class is canceled, so please check your email before class begins!

Cindi Haggerty, M.A. Drama Coach Theatre for Kids Founder and Parent, Cindi Haggerty holds a Master’s Degree from Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I. and a Bachelor’s degree in Writing with a double minor in Communications and Theatre Arts. Cindi graduated Cum Laude, as part of the National Honor Society and also received the 1992 Theatre Arts Award for Distinction in Technical Theatre. Cindi has over eight years of professional experience teaching and counseling in higher education working as a Director of Career Services and as an Associate Dean. She was also selected to teach Theatre Arts at the Cluny Sisters Elementary School in Newport, RI in an Educational Grant position. Cindi has written, developed and implemented a Theatre for Kids program in Billerica and is currently teaching a variety of classes for children in Preschool through Middle school at the Billerica Public Library and through the Town’s Recreation Program. Cindi’s passion is to teach and bring Theatre Arts to young Actors and help them to see the Stars they truly are.
